Senior ABAP Developer - Remote working - English speaking - Permanent employment

We are supporting a global partner of ours in this search for an experience as a Senior Developer.

Role purpose:

The developer is part of a developer pool supporting the functional teams to solve operational issues or deliver on projects.

Responsibilities:

• Development and enhancements for the ABAP Objects (reports, function modules, smartforms, OO programming, CDS view)
• SAP logic for interfaces, APIs, etc
• Creation of the Technical Design Documentation (TDD)
• Incident handling in Production systems
• Share knowledge within the team
• Collaborates closely with the Solution Architects, Functional Specialists and integration specialists
• Debug and solve operational issues
• Develop technical design for functional requirements
• Develop and test the solutions
• Maintain and continuously improve the quality of the solutions in operation and new project deliveries

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience working with SAP (ECC 6/S/4 Hana) in a hands-on application management organization and project environment
• Expert ABAP skills (OO ABAP, Report development, Smartform development, idoc-EDI development, Enhancements implementations)
• Experience in CDS view development is an advantage
• Fluent English language knowledge
• College or University (IT/Business Degree or Equivalent)
• Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite
• Expert in diagnosing, debugging and troubleshooting
• Extensive experience with SAP configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
• Experience defining business requirements, writing functional design documentation
• Experience in designing SAP software components
• Experience integrating SAP with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools
