Freelancer Opportunity: Senior OMS Developer (6-Month Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Senior OMS Developer to join our team in Geneva for a 6-month contract, working 3 days per week on-site and 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within a complex Order Management System (OMS) environment.
• Develop and maintain microservices, APIs, and event-based architectures using cutting-edge technologies.
• Contribute to both Front End and Back End development, ensuring best practices in security, performance, and scalability.

Technical Requirements:

• Fluent Commerce OMS experience is a must.
• Senior Java Developer with a strong grasp of Java Standard.
• Proficient in JSON configuration for complex solutions.
• Senior Microservices Developer (Spring Boot).
• Skilled Python Developer.
• Expertise in Event-Based Architecture & API-First Solutions.
• Solid experience in React, Git/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with IntelliJ, Datadog, SonarQube, and unit/integration/system testing.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira).
• Knowledge of Cloud-Native Solutions, Microservices Architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong focus on web application security (OAuth2, OIDC).
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB environments.

Functional Requirements:

• Previous experience in OMS, E-commerce, Stock Management, and Order Flow.
• Experience in the Luxury Industry is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in similar roles.
• Experience in large-scale, complex projects for major companies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
• Experience in software architecture, integration projects, and working with near/off-shore teams.
• Fluent in English, additional languages such as French or Italian are a plus.
