DV Cleared Application Packager - 6 months+-£550-600pd Inside IR35- Full time on site (Hampshire) My client are a Global Defence Consultancy who are looking for a DV Cleared Application Integration Engineer/Application Packager. The Engineer will work within the Managed Applications workstream, assessing and selecting appropriate design templates for moving applications onto fixed and deployed platforms, working in collaboration with the team's Customer Design Lead. Required Competencies Advanced application packaging/repackaging knowledge using best of breed toolsets. Ability to Integrate COTS, GOTS and Client Server based applications within Windows and/or Linux based environments. Including advanced application configuration aspects such as creating Custom Actions, creating and tailoring Transforms and associated troubleshooting. Good working knowledge of VMware (inc. using the latest application virtualisation products), familiar with using both historic and current Windows (Desktop and Server) and Linux systems (eg RHEL). Ability to create and troubleshoot these systems including Group Policy, Registry manipulation and setting and managing permissions and auditing. Practical knowledge of Scripting tools (eg PowerShell, VBScript and Python). Technical ability to analyse application media, and identify installation processes and configuration. Experience of working in a secure environment, including secure configuration of application software. Ability to produce high quality technical documentation. Desired Competencies Knowledge of Azure DevOps (inc. pipelines). Comfortable with conveying technical aspects to an audience (eg product demos to the customer). Working knowledge of using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). ArcSightSIEMtoolset, or open to cross-train into ArcSightSIEMtoolset (ESM, SmartConnectors, Logger and ArcMC).
