Role - Application Support Analyst
Package - £50k + 10% bonus + 10% pension
Location - Manchester/hybrid

An opportunity to join a tech-first Insurance company as part of their brand new Manchester based office. They are in the process of a modernisation programme and they're looking for a talented Application Analyst to support them in this.

Responsibilities
Resolve Incident, Problem, and Service Request tickets within the established SLAs.
Utilize various service desk systems, with a preference for ServiceNow.
Carry out routine system tasks and processes to maintain the daily operation of IT systems.
Contribute to and implement ongoing improvements to the function.
Collaborate with other IT teams, such as Service Desk, Infrastructure, DBAs, and Network Security, to address IT application support issues.
Conduct basic system administration tasks for the application.
Query application databases and perform preliminary data analysis.
Engage extensively with vendors and internal teams to deliver effective and efficient application support.

Skills & Experience
Experience supporting underwriting software systems like Subscribe, Guidewire, Genius, or Eclipse.
Strong understanding of Lloyd's market insurance business processes and platforms, such as Xchanging.
Familiarity with Lloyd's market premiums and claims messages (USM and SCM).
Knowledge of policy life cycle, claims processing, and outwards reinsurance processes.
Proficient in TSQL for data querying and extraction.
Experience working in a regulatory environment.
