Site Reliability Engineer - AWS vacancy for a globally operating Prague based company in the energy sector.

Your tasks:

• Supporting Business IT Applications both on-premise and in the Cloud to maintain stable environments.
• Following Best Practice processes for incidents, problems, change, and configuration management.
• Implementing patching and maintenance of Business Applications according to defined processes.
• Leading the transition of new Business Applications to the SRE Team, ensuring full documentation.
• Leading implementation, process, and document reviews to improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
• Configuring and improving Gitlab CICD pipelines and application monitoring using Terraform code

Your experience/knowledge:

• 4+ years of SRE experience, with + 3 years of experience in other IT technical roles, ideally in a trading environment
• Proven expertise in 2nd or 3rd level support of Business Critical Applications
• Advanced proficiency in AWS Cloud, GitLab, Terraform, and Datadog or similar monitoring tools, along with strong SQL skills
• Background with Linux, Windows, and database systems, as well as IT infrastructure, is advantageous
• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
