• Research Impact Lead
• £30-£35 per hour (inside IR35/umbrella rate)
• 6 month initial contract
• Leeds - Hybrid - 1 monthly office visit

As the Research Impact Lead, you will play a key role in developing and managing the Impact function of the client's organisation and contribute to their overall objectives. With your expertise, you will be responsible for driving the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) approaches and quantitative and qualitative analytics to showcase the significant difference that our client's funding has made.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and managing the Impact function
• Providing career development, performance evaluation, and work evaluation for the Impact team members
• Identifying approaches for demonstrating the impact of our client's funding through MEL approaches and analytics
• Overseeing, developing, and maintaining programme evaluations and Impact solutions
• Aligning our client's organisation with Impact/MEL initiatives within the industry and assisting with cross-organisation developments
• Providing specialist knowledge of programme evaluations and methodologies
• Sharing your expertise in writing and publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts representing our client's organisation
• Leading appropriate Impact projects and evaluations, including ethical approval processes for programme improvements
• Managing budget elements related to Impact evaluations, including defining specifications and evaluating quotes

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in research and impact assessment
• Proven track record of delivering evidence-based evaluations
• Excellent writing and publishing skills with experience in peer-reviewed publications
• Experience leading a team within a cross-organisational setting
• Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative methods and data analysis tools
