As a Software and Application Specialist, your primary role will be to support and optimize software solutions to meet business demands. This includes setting up technical infrastructure, ensuring security measures, providing consultation on issues, and transitioning to regular operations post-implementation.

You will be responsible for vendor management, stakeholder collaboration, aligning software with security policies, and adhering to development standards. A crucial aspect of your role will be liaising with global and regional teams to integrate data and applications, translating business needs into functional requirements.

In addition, you will manage the applications, infrastructure, and data within the technical centers, and maintain communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience in vendor and stakeholder management, project management, and infrastructure services delivery
• Ability to set up and secure technical infrastructures
• Basic technical expertise in networking, hosting, virtualization, security, and IoT troubleshooting
• Familiarity with hardware and Server Side operations
• Experience in a global IT function, preferably similar to any FMCG company
• Experience with IT outsourcing providers and IT Infrastructure Library frameworks
• Understanding of business processes within the Research & Development (R&D) function
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
• Degree in IT/IS Computer Science or equivalent
• Technical, infrastructure, and data skills with business acumen
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to influence others and manage multi-country stakeholders
• Knowledge of R&D or pre-manufacturing processes and/or applications is a plus
• Knowledge of Data & Analytics or Modelling & Simulation solutions is a plus
• Willingness to travel 10-25% to selected R&D technical center sites as needed (United States and Brazil)

Preferred candidates will have experience working within the Research & Development and manufacturing sectors, along with practical knowledge of server data devices and Internet of Things (IoT). The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, have experience in project management, and display a strong curiosity and drive for continuous learning and development within infrastructure.
