On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Prague, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:

Test Automation Engineer - Web Applications - Python - PyTest - Selenium (f/m/x) Prague-

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, pytest, and Selenium.
• Execute and monitor automated test suites, ensuring timely analysis of test results from Jenkins pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with developers and testers within a Scrum team environment.
• Utilize strong analytical skills and critical thinking to identify and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
• Maintain and expand test coverage and test automation frameworks.

Mandatory skills and experiences:

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with pytest and Selenium for web automation.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Bash Scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform simple queries.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly working in Scrum teams.
• Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
• Basic knowledge of cloud services and containerization, specifically how they relate to automated testing and deployment processes.
• Previous experience in a QA role focusing on automated testing of web applications.
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and tools quickly.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
