A global dynamic consulting company have an opening for a Senior Teamcenter Consultant/Solution Architect to join their Services Team, providing cutting edge expertise in service life cycle management (SLM), technical publications solutions and content creation.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the project team during requirement capture and design, delivering cost effective, supportable technical application solutions that meet business's needs.
• Configure applications based on requirements and designs captured by the solution architecture team
• Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve the solutions we deliver including:
  • PLM and Content Management Systems
  • Publishing solutions - IETP, Web Portals
  • Augmented Reality
  • Advanced Diagnostics
• Be the go-to expert on markup technologies like XML and related standards, including XSLT, XSL-and XPath, tools like FOP and Antenna House, as well as global tech doc standards like S1000D, DITA, PDF and HTML5.
• Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed solutions
• Provide detailed design and specifications for proposed solutions
• Account for possible project challenges on constraints including risks, time, resource and scope
• Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives

Skills Required:

• Strong working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter interface and/or other enterprise content management solutions
• Knowledge of XML and related standards, especially the XSL family of standards
• Experience in working with and knowledge of S1000D and DITA
• Working knowledge of PLM implementations
• Experience in configuring Teamcenter
• Experience of Information Systems and Server/Client Infrastructure
• Test automation coding and setup
• Experience of supporting software implementations and upgrades
• Excellent communication skills
• Good Windows server/client skills
• Experience in software engineering and design architecture

The successful candidate will be required to travel to the office once a month or as required.
