Position: Project Planner

Start Date: September

Contract Length: 12 Months + Extension

Location: Stein, Switzerland

Rate: 70 - 80 CHF Per Hour

Trust in SODA is working with a leading pharmaceutical company looking to expand its global facilities and is in search of experienced professionals to support this growth. They are currently seeking a Planner to join their team, specifically to support the SGIE Capital Projects for worldwide facilities and infrastructure. This role is pivotal in planning, overseeing, and reporting on projects through various stages.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules for comprehensive project execution.

- Ensure schedule integration across various disciplines (EPCM, Contractors, etc.) within the overall Lonza project schedule.

- Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for team approval.

- Assess and report impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities to the project team.

- Monitor schedule deviations and variances, proposing alternative methods and mitigations for corrective action.

- Provide regular schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analyses.

- Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and variances that could affect schedule performance.

- Ensure the credibility and accuracy of the information contained in the schedule.

- Regularly review schedules with project team members to incorporate accurate and timely data.

- Facilitate project scheduling and interactive planning meetings as required.

- Ensure appropriate resource loading.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Degree: Bachelor's Degree required. Preferred fields of study include Engineering, Science, or Business Management.

- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

- 5-10 years of experience in planning and maintaining accurate schedules for large projects (= 20 Mio CHF). Experience with large-scale projects (up to 200 Mio CHF) is preferred.

- Excellent command of English; German proficiency is a plus.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex data sets and support decision-making.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Capability to manage ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities and demands.

- Effective prioritization and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with project management software for cost controlling and Excel.

Additional Preferences:

- Pharmaceutical experience is preferred but not mandatory.

- Proficiency in English is required; German is advantageous.

- Experience with Primavera is essential.
