DevOps Manager required for a Software Solutions Provider, based out of Glasgow. The company: They are headquartered in Glasgow and are a provider of voice recording solutions. They have around 40 staff and are hiring for this DevOps and Infrastructure Manager to lead the DevOps Engineers. Across the business, they have specialty across DevOps and cloud solutions, including AWS. They have a long list of very reputable and large businesses as their clients, and have ample work to be done. They have recently just completed a software implementation for a well-known travel provider and have plenty more projects lined up. Clients range across both public and private sector - they are certainly in a good financial position in comparison with some of their competitors. The business operate across a hybrid model, and would be looking for 2 days a week in office. There may be some flexibility on this, however that is very much the ideal. The role: This role is to lead and manage a team of 9 DevOps and Infrastructure Engineers, with management being the focus. You will sit amongst a management team of 4, reporting into the CTO. The teams' skillsets range, however it is generally quite infrastructure and DevOps focused, with AWS the preferred cloud choice. DevOps Manager required for a Software Solutions Provider, based out of Glasgow. The company: They are headquartered in Glasgow and are a provider of voice recording solutions. They have around 40 staff and are hiring for this DevOps and Infrastructure Manager to lead the DevOps Engineers. Across the business, they have specialty across DevOps and cloud solutions, including AWS. They have a long list of very reputable and large businesses as their clients, and have ample work to be done. They have recently just completed a software implementation for a well-known travel provider and have plenty more projects lined up. Clients range across both public and private sector - they are certainly in a good financial position in comparison with some of their competitors. The business operate across a hybrid model, and would be looking for 2 days a week in office. There may be some flexibility on this, however that is very much the ideal. The role: This role is to lead and manage a team of 9 DevOps and Infrastructure Engineers, with management being the focus. You will sit amongst a management team of 4, reporting into the CTO. The teams' skillsets range, however it is generally quite infrastructure and DevOps focused, with AWS the preferred cloud choice. You will likely have come from a technical background and will occasionally still need to be "hands-on", however management is very much the key resource required. You do not need to be a Manager of a large team currently, however you do need to have managed or mentored a team of circa 3+ Engineers and be keen to do this moving forward. As well as the day to day management, you will need to have strong Stakeholder Management skills and manage other 3rd party suppliers - this requires you to be a strong personality and be able to build good relationships.
