In this role, you'll be reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, your main responsibility will be to implement technology projects. Assisting with solution design and the transition into BAU. Basically you'll be the go to person providing technology insight, working to a high level of project governance and at times assisting with hands on BAU activities.

We're looking for a critical thinker, someone who is keen to take charge of the hands-on action involved in technology projects. You'll be the expert who keeps tabs on all the trends in on-premises and cloud infrastructure, and spots opportunities for automation and innovation.

Discovery, Design and Delivery
Assisting with technical discovery for potential projects and or service improvements. Working against the clock to deliver your tasks, obtaining assurance from our Technical Architect & ultimately being responsible for the delivery of your tasks within the project keeping everyone updated and logging your efforts in Real Time.

Transition Management
Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), solution designs and knowledge articles related to your project tasks. Training the Service Desk on new projects ensuring a smooth handover to support. Managing early life support post project to ensure our customers projects are successful up to and beyond go-live.

Automation
Proactively reviewing toolsets, processes, and technology stacks, driving efficiencies via automation, you will have proven experience in using tools and platforms such as Terraform, PowerShell, Power Automate & ITSM tools. Creating internal projects to improve our services or helping scope customer projects that add value by utilising automation.

Skills Required

• Windows Server design, build, management, and maintenance in a multidomain environment.
• Hyper-V and VMware design, build, management, and maintenance.
• Azure landing zone design, build, management, and maintenance.
• Active Directory including AAD, GPOs & UAC & RBAC model creation.
• Automation technologies Terraform, Powershell and Power Automate.
• Strong experience in hybrid cloud environments and modernising Legacy infrastructure.
• Strong experience managing Intune policies and configuration, with the ability to troubleshoot autonomously.
• Experience of working in an environment aligning to ITIL best practice and focusing on the business impact & outcomes.
• Experience in delivering varied tasks within a project independently.
• Management and ongoing improvements of Office 365, security scores & feature development.
• A good understanding of cyber security principles and a security first approach to infrastructure design.
• Able to work with network Switches & Firewalls with the ability to troubleshoot autonomously.
