Technical Communications Manager

Our client is a world-leader in Business Intelligence software and they're looking for a technical communications manager to build and develop their technical documentation function. You'll be at the forefront of shaping how users interact with their state-of-the-art software and be responsible for creating user manuals, reference guides, in-product help and technical marketing materials.

What's needed?

• A solid background in technical documentation, ideally within a software development environment. Any experience with business intelligence, AI techniques, data analytics, machine learning or similar will be a big plus!
• The ability to build out the core content, own and drive the creation of a new documentation function, and to manage the documentation going forwards.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for new technologies, and not afraid to share ideas.
• A self-starter who's happy to manage their own workload and prioritise as appropriate.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A great instinct for design with lots of ideas on how to best present the documentation to make it accessible to a wide range of users from business professionals to data analysis experts.
• The ability to effectively communicate with subject matter experts at all levels of the business.

On offer is a fantastic salary of £70K - £120K p.a. (depending on experience) and benefits package. This is a remote position but if you are able to go into the Hertfordshire office at least once a week, that would be an advantage.
