Contract role - Mainframe Sysprog System Programmer - Remote/England - 12 months contract - Inside IR35

We are seeking Mainframe Sysprog System Programmer to supporting our client's shared Mainframe infrastructure.

* Role: Mainframe Sysprog System Programmer
* Location: England/Remote
* Job type: Contract - Inside IR35
* Duration: 12 months contract

* You must be eligible for UK Govt Security Clearance
* Mainframe Sysprog supporting and upgrading zOS and other software.
* IODF skills are very desirable.
* Experience working on shared infrastructure would really help.
* Strong experience working on IBM z/OS and Mainframe platforms
* Experience in the following: z/OS, IODF, ISPF, RACF, TCP/IP, VTAM, REXX
* Proven ability to learn and acquire new skills
* Ability to install, configure and upgrade IBM Mainframe software & Hardware
* Experience installing and working with Mainframe ISV software
* Good understanding of Mainframe modernisation and modern tooling
