As the Progammed Mechanical Design Officer, you will be responsible for the full design and development, implementation, and management of planned and reactive maintenance programmes. Your role as a subject matter expert in mechanical-related matters will contribute to the effective operation of our client's estate and ensure all statutory undertakings are met.

What will you do? Your main tasks will include:

Designing and project managing major and minor construction works projects from start to finish. This includes authorising payment of the final account and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.

Carrying out Condition Surveys of the entire estate for buildings, plant, machinery, and equipment.

Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical-related problems and providing viable solutions through planned and recurring maintenance programmes.

Preparing design drawings, specifications, and tender documentation for maintenance replacements, improvements, and capital schemes.

Managing and reporting on revenue and capital budgets for repair, maintenance, refurbishment, and renewal projects.
