Join our client's dynamic team who are looking for x2 Principal Analyst Programmers (.NET & HL7). We are currently seeking an experienced individual who can provide support, training, and technical help to our client's senior analyst programmers and analyst programmers. This is a temporary position, requiring Full time availability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the development and interoperability process, overseeing the project from start to completion.
• Monitor the skill levels of technical staff, ensuring they meet the IT needs of the client's Department and Health Board.
• Take ownership of core IT systems, including FHIR Server and API development, PMS Master Index, Results Reporting, and more.
• Serve as a representative for the Applications and Development Teams, advocating for their interests and liaising with other departments.
• Demonstrate expertise in system development and interoperability, preferably in Microsoft .NET.
• Collaborate with the Technical Architect in coding and developing API or System Development, including analysis, design, testing, documentation, and optimisation.
• Undertake complex technical development outside the scope of Senior Software Developers/Systems Developers.
• Ensure all development projects align with Agile project management methodology.
• Implement quality control procedures to match user requirements and monitor system operation.
• Take responsibility for system maintenance, bug fixes, and enhancements as directed by the Technical Architect.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to Senior Software Developers/Systems Developers.
• Produce patient-related information to support reporting and strategic planning.
• Stay updated on new developments in systems design and application development, researching and evaluating new technologies.
• Proactively develop strategies to improve the development and support of all IT systems/processes.

Experience:

• Understanding of Systems/API development, preferably in .NET and HL7.
• Strong IT experience in managing the systems development life cycle.
• Prior management experience within a large complex organisation, overseeing in-house software or API development systems.
• Proficiency in analysis and logical design methodologies, as well as lead roles in physical design and development of various systems.
• Experience in project management using Agile methods.
• Knowledge of formal analysis and logical design methodologies.
• Ability to provide IT development support to staff.
• Familiarity with Agile Project Management methodology.
