An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation as a SAP UK Tax specialist (Techno - Functional) on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role. They would support their existing SAP Tax system and optimise their system and comply to UK tax regulations.

• Having 5+ Years of experience with SAP UK Tax, Payroll system
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules related to finance and tax, Payroll.
• Proficiency in SAP configuration, customization, and implementation.
• .Understanding, capturing and analysing the client's tax and business requirements to build the optimal SAP Tax design and/or supplement with the right mix of alternative tax technology solutions.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining SAP systems for tax compliance in the UK.
• At least 1 full project life cycle and proven system support experience
• Excellent consulting and customer facing skills Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements, management accounting techniques and integration touch points to other SAP modules.
• Staying updated with the latest SAP developments and UK tax regulations.
• Strong experience working with SAP in a tax-related role.
• Configure SAP systems to handle UK-specific tax requirements, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes
• Experience in customizing SAP modules such as FI (Financial Accounting) and to manage tax-related processes.
• Should have experience and able to Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and implement necessary system updates.
• Strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes and identifying the key tax touchpoints across the end-to-end business processes for their clients' particular needs
• Should ensure that the SAP system complies with UK tax laws and regulations.
• Experience in Integrating SAP with external tax reporting and compliance tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to tax, Payroll and reporting in the SAP system.
• Provide technical support for tax-related issues within the SAP system.
• Experience in Ensuring smooth data flow between SAP and other financial systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns and other regulatory reports.
• Provide expertise on best practices for tax compliance within the SAP environment.
• Ability to analyse complex tax requirements and implement effective solutions within the SAP system.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve tax-related issues.
• Experience in managing projects related to SAP implementation and upgrades.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with finance teams, IT departments, and external auditors.
• Professional certifications in SAP would be a plus, not essential
• A degree in a computer science or a related field is desirable but not essential.
