Our client is looking for someone who's experienced at managing a team and not afraid to get their hands dirty. As the Technical IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining their IT infrastructure, ensuring the continuous operation of critical systems both on-premises and in their data centres. You will lead a 24/7 NOC team and work closely with our outsourced SOC to guarantee the security and reliability of our services. This role requires a hands-on approach to technical support, process definition, and compliance with industry standards. Be willing to travel to the data centres when called upon to do so. This might occur during out-of-office and unsociable hours, though as a rule, the NOC team reporting to this role will attend sites when required. Manage raising and tracking purchase requisitions and ensure the purchase orders arrive from the supplier. Coordinate & ensure that the goods are deployed as planned.
