My client are urgently looking for a SALTstack engineer for an ongoing project. Working with SALTstack writing SALT states to update our platforms on our engines running both in Linux and Windows. In the lead of setting up our physical test environment simulating the engine room on the vessel and help us test and verify our software packages. Working with the team to setup our Linux based server and take care of the security of this. Part of designing and developing our Engine LAN network between devices on board as well as the customer owned satellite connections. Taking part in the entire product development, all the way from designing the architecture to development and operations of the product. And Have Experience with SALTstack, Ansible, Puppet or similar. Are comfortable in Linux and have some experience setting up Linux Servers. Have experience with GitHub and preferably also GitHub Actions. Are used to different Scripting languages such as Python, YAML, PowerShell or similar.
