Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the client:

• We are building foundational AI for Defense, our first product is a market-leading targeting (automated) that detects, remembers, and shares targets in Real Time by watching any sensor, on any network - this is delivering modular, insightful knowledge where the enemy is on any ship, vehicle, drone, satellite, or command center - this is all made possible by our platform learning targets with little compute and data - we have found massive success within the DoD where we are currently being exercised on land, sea, and air.

• Our ML Engineers are currently more focused on actively supporting product development on the field - speed is paramount at the moment, and maintaining the trust of our users is essential to our success.

Requirements:

• Ownership - you will be responsible for full life cycle solutions; a fundamental understanding of 'why', hypotheses, followed by research, hands-on data cleaning issues, and development.
• Strong experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Experience with object detection, CV (computer vision), sensor fusion
• Proficiency in coding and data science
• Knowledge of Probability Theory (or other mathematical areas)
• Experience in full model engineering process - from data acquisition to local (or cloud) deployment

Bonus points:

• TOP SECRET or TS/SCI
• Come from a heavy software engineering background (Python, C++, Rust, etc.)
• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or Physics
