We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for assisting with physical and rehabilitative treatments, taking and recording medical histories, communicating with the patients' families, working with the patients on proper exercise and diet programs, and managing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' mobility and assist with physical therapy, such as exercise programs, range-of-motion regimens and treatment of spasticity.
• Assist in examinations to determine the cause of a patient's disability and identify potential treatment interventions, including physical therapy interventions.
• Communicate findings to physician.
• Maintain patient/family records.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to tolerate daily exposure to patients suffering from injuries and illness.

Requirements:

• Must have valid Physical Therapy Assistant license/certificate in the state in which applying for work.
• Must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Exceptional patient therapy skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Open to treat patients through the entire lifespan
• Team oriented
