You will join a central data governance team that is only 12 months old, 4 people, and sits within a company of 1000. You will be tasked with defining, designing and implementing the automation processes that allow the data governance team to function. Currently, the team comprises analysts who are on the more functional side of data governance. You will have the complete responsibility of the technical aspect of the team. The environment is AWS based and you will have the choice of working in Java or Python or both. On the automation side, other teams are working with ArgoCD and GitHub Actions but you will have the freedom to choose the most appropriate. This role is 100% remote but you will need to work roughly around UK hours. You will also have to be based in Ireland. This will likely begin as a 12 month contract and continue long-term.
