You will be front line with the clients and customers and running projects from concept to delivery. You must have a technical understanding and a engineering background industrial automation - PLC - SERVO DRIVES - MOTION CONTROL. The Role: You will be working as part of a team alongside our development engineers and customers. Products are centred around programmable motion controllers with PLC functionality used in a broad range of industrial machines ranging from 3D printing to assembly line systems and industrial robots. You will be working with our product hardware and software engineers based in the UK, Italy and Bulgaria to bring the latest automation technology to the market. Alongside this, the role includes active dialogue with our customers and branch offices abroad and will require some limited travel both within and outside the UK. The ability to think logically about problem solving and experience writing software in a high level structured language will be needed and some experience with electrical wiring is desirable. Some prior mechanical knowledge will be helpful but training will be given where appropriate. Specific Job Responsibilities: Work with customers to support their ability to create world-class technical solutions using products, software and programming tools. Assist the development department with testing and evaluating new software and hardware, giving clear feedback to development engineers.
