You MUST have the following: Strong experience as an Infrastructure Automation Engineer/DevOps Engineer/Python Platform Engineer Good Python Scripting experience Python automation for VDI environments (Citrix, VMware or Microsoft) AWS Terraform and Docker Enterprise-scale infrastructure experience The following is DESIRABLE, not essential: Citrix Virtual Apps Role: Infrastructure Automation Engineering Lead (DevOps Engineer Platform Python Automation VDI Citrix Virtual Apps XenDesktop XenApp Microsoft Remote Services RDS VMware Horizon AWS Terraform Docker Finance Financial Services Asset Manager Banking Remote) required by our asset management client in London. This is a global role and will be aligned with a team of 4 project engineers who are responsible for the Citrix Virtual Apps projects across 2400 global VDI users, although this number is set to continue to increase. Your role will be to take the lead on the automation of application deployment and release of VDI images. The team have strong VDI capabilities but need supplementing in this area. They work with PowerShell but you will need to bring Python. Otherwise, they are working with AWS, GitLab, Ansible, Terraform and Docker. You may even find it appropriate to building your own tooling and to suggest future tooling. Experience in Citrix Virtual Apps is preferable but experience in XenDesktop/XenApp, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or VMware Horizon is also acceptable. This is a role and company that will allow hybrid working with only 1-2 days/month in the office. Salary: £90-120k + 15% Bonus + 10% Pension
