Lead Software Engineer (Back End) Fully remote Salary up to £80,000 + Huge pension An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well known organisation in the public sector, famed for it's culture and work/life balance.The new Lead Software Engineer will work across the whole of the Digital and Innovation portfolio, supporting activity across core IT and technology, customer and digital. Key responsibilities will include: Implement software development standards and practice for the organisation Build and maintain CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions Ensure requirements are correctly captured via user stories and gherkin acceptance criteria, using Jira to manage workflow Ensure that all software you build, maintain and run meets user needs.
