The business is a household name in the retail industry with a large engineering department and a low turnover of staff. Their engineers work in small, agile multi-disciplinary teams who value knowledge sharing and collaborative working, so they often use pair programming and run communities of practice to support continuous learning. As a Lead Software Engineer, you'd work across 2 squads and would support them in the delivery of their work by providing technical guidance, coaching and training, rather than being hands-on with code yourself (this is not a line management role). Skills: C#, .NET Core, Azure TypeScript (Node & React) CI/CD, TDD, Pair Programming The package is good too - up to £72k plus benefits including 10% bonus, 10% pension, private healthcare and remote first working with an office in Manchester city centre. If you're interested in this opportunity and would like to know more, please apply through this advert and I will contact you ASAP. InterQuest Group is acting as an employment agency for this vacancy. InterQuest Group is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of age, disability, gender, religion/belief, race, marriage, civil partnership, pregnancy, maternity, sex or sexual orientation. Please make us aware if you require any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.
