Job mission: Responsible with delivering system changes across a list of applications and implementation of new applications. The responsible will work on the required changes with the technical teams and business partners. The responsible will execute changes from initiation to close using standard project management methodologies. At the same time, ensure application of the in-house project management methodology to meet business requirements and manage the scope and quality of delivery. In addition, manage and escalate end-to-end project risks, issues and dependencies and overall project communication.
Your responsibilities and everyday challenges:
Implement new applications and manage the transition of the applications for which has responsibility to deliver one that meets the requirements of the intended organisation structure.
Ensure adherence with all the required Daimler IT standards and processes.
Manage the application delivery process over the entire project (Build, Test, Migration/Cut-over, Go-live, and Post Go-Live).
Support the testing cycles performed by IT and Business.
Manage IT change request process end-to-end.
Manage IT issues and dependencies on the project (identification, mitigation, monitoring, resolution and escalation) end-to-end.
Assist in facilitation of application workshops, including business/IT and facility coordination
Manage, in respect of the IT aspects of the project, the expectations of the key stakeholders involved, i.e.
Local business users
Local IT team members and local IT vendors
Global and Regional Project leads and technical teams
Assist CIO or IT Project Manager to provide regular reports on project related deliverables to:
The Steering Committee
The Project Sponsor
The Project Team
Where required, undertake Business Analysis including process mapping (as-is, to-be), requirements gathering, scoping and estimation.
Facilitate and own the gathering, analysis, documentation and management of requirements.
Participate in solution design process, including developing High Level Design (HLD) as required.
Provide consulting input to business process optimization with or without the use of IT.
What we expect from you:
University (Degree) in IT, Marketing or Economic
Proven track record in SAP Technical Project Delivery and/or Project Management.
Demonstrated experience in delivering/managing complex IT projects using formal methodologies in a medium/large corporate environment
Understanding of business process mapping and process improvement methods (as-is and to-be).
High level of business acumen and the ability to integrate customers’ business needs into a technical framework.
Knowledge of Daimler environment and Daimler systems/ interfaces like GO, Wings, MBKS, Compass, CAS, will be appreciated
Knowledge of Automotive Business Processes - Knowledge of Daimler/ MBRO processes will be highly regarded
SAP functional and/or technical knowledge will be an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills complimented by good communication skills written and verbal
Ability to understand fast the problems and find solutions
Analytical skills and effective negotiation and influencing skills
