FPGA, Electrical Control Engineer Contract role to be based in East Midlands or Glasgow. Daily rates have not been advised, we will be seeking competitive day rate quotations inside IR35 Our client has an established capability in the design and verification of FPGAs within nuclear control systems. We have an immediate requirement for Programmable Hardware Engineers of all levels to specify, design, implement and debug solutions to some of the UK's most important engineering programmes. Experienced candidates will have solid relevant experience, including demonstrable experience of VHDL coding and designing FPGAs from system level requirements. You will have an important role in a team delivering some of our largest programmes of work in conjunction with our clients in the UK's national infrastructure and national security. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, often alongside the client. You will deliver tasks to time, cost and quality expectations and you will assist to develop future business. The suitable applicant will meet the following minimum requirements: A thorough understanding of FPGA concepts and hardware design. Proficiency in VHDL design toolsets and verification suites. Experience of developing complex FPGA architectures and design solutions. Requirements capture and development Conduct FPGA synthesis, place and route, and timing closure to meet performance targets. Developing supporting software to maximise the efficiency of the FPGA design life cycle, eg test scripts. Troubleshoot and debug FPGA designs, identifying and resolving issues in a demanding environment. (Senior Motion Designer - 6 months - hybrid - 550-600pday inIR35) Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Motion Designer, ideally with public sector or Government background on a 6 months hybrid role - approx. 1 day in either the London or Bristol office. The Senior Motion Designer will be crucial in creating visually compelling motion graphics and animations that elevate our creative output. They will collaborate closely with the design team, Head of Design, Brand Design Lead, and Senior Accessibility Specialist to develop concepts, design animations, and ensure that all motion elements align with the project's vision. Experience required: 5+ years of professional experience (agency or in-house) in motion design, with a graphic design background and with a portfolio showcasing strong creative and technical abilities across various media formats.
