Job title: Cloud Design lead Location/remote: Slough/Remote Contract length: 5 months rolling Rate: £325 daily Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently looking for a Cloud OSS design lead on behalf of a leading Telecoms company based in Slough. This role is part of the Network Management Support team which resides within the Tools, OSS and C-SON team (TOCS). TOCS are responsible for defining and delivering the operational support systems which play a vital part of operations. Within the Network Management Systems (NMS) team, designers lead on delivering new and evolving NMS, operational teams lead on ensuring these are available for our customers to use when they need them and security designers ensure that security considerations get the focus they require. This role is to help the team deal with Cloud deployments. This role will help draw out clarity in what our Cloud NMS deployment plan should look like, what we need to make them a reality and how to ensure we have a full understanding of requirements, roles and responsibilities when they do. You will provide leadership on early projects and help the wider team understand their roles moving forward. Responsibilities: Steer development of OSS team to grow understanding of cloud environment Work with vendors and internal teams to recognise what cloud deployment plans are needed over coming years Help team understand options and move towards decisions for operations model for Cloud Native deployment Identify relationships which need to be managed to make use of Cloud Natives a success Build input into 3 year planning cycle to underpin Cloud migrations and new delivers Lead design of PM, FM, CM and security design for cloud native deployments Identify reusable toolset using Cloud Native observability toolset inc Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch and Jaeger Maximise benefits of configuration management options using OpenAPIs configured by OSS tools Maximise benefits of Fault management options including Cloud based tools eg Prometheus Alert Manager using SNMP integration. Maximise benefits of Performance management options using cloud based tools eg Prometheus, Grafana tool dashboard for Prometheus metrics reports, logs and traces in ElasticSearch DB and export capabilities in JSON format. Steer the company Cloud deployment plans and options as needed. Key skills: Experience of delivering and operating Cloud OSS services. Previous experience of Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch and Jaeger would be desirable Effective self-management skills. Good communications skills. Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills. Good interpersonal skills. The Identity & Governance Management Specialist is responsible for the day to day coordination of access control activities for a number of company systems. This includes ensuring that team service level targets are achieved through the timely and accurate delivery of user requests and also includes maintaining the accuracy of the Information Systems Security (ISS) Database. Responsibilities: To co-ordinate the provisioning of requests received via Remedy ensuring that agreed service level targets are met. To administer the ISS database, ensuring that records are up to date and that regular review are conducted to maintain the integrity of all access control information for the following CREATIONS, DELETIONS, and LEAVES/MOVERS. Complete all user requests by sending out correct notification email to ensure customer satisfaction and consistent level of service delivered. To assist in the definition and implementation of Access control processes in order to facilitate the continuous improvement of processes & services offered to the business using Process flows accurately for all listed systems. To support the completion of audits on access control by providing any information requested by the auditor (internal or external). To support the production of access control related customised reports on an ad-hoc basis, ensuring that the information is readily accessible. To support via email and telephone internal and external/third party companies with system access requests as well as ongoing support for ongoing IT related queries Contribute to team targets and business objectives and also ensure any assigned individual KPIs are met To produce reports as required by management and/or customers.
