We are seeking a Medior Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for our software applications. This role requires proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, a deep understanding of testing methodologies, and strong programming skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage, optimize test cycles, and ensure the overall quality of our software products. Key Responsibilities Automation Design & Development : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our software testing process. Integrate test automation into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Test Strategy : Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define test plans and strategies. Define test cases and ensure they are automated for regression, performance, load, and functional testing. Test Execution & Maintenance : Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects. Maintain and update automation scripts to ensure compatibility with new product features and releases. Quality Assurance : Ensure test automation best practices are followed across projects to maintain high-quality software products. Perform root cause analysis of failed tests and report findings to development teams for immediate resolution. Documentation & Reporting : Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, test data, and reports. Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders regarding testing progress, results, and risks. Continuous Improvement : Actively contribute to the evolution of test automation practices within the team and the broader organization. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation. Required Skills & Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience : 3+ years of experience in test automation engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining automated test scripts. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks pref. with WebdriverIO and Playwright. Proficient in Scripting language pref. Typescript. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI. Testing Tools & Frameworks : Familiarity with test management tools (eg, Jira, TestRail). Experience with version control systems like Git. Experience with PEGA products is a plus. Analytical & Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills. Soft Skills : Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with development, QA, and product teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
