Chapter Lead Middleware Architect Agile SAFe WebLogic Kubernetes Docker Remote Working Brussels Belgium 500 Euros Per Day - 12 months Skills and Experience Extensive experience (min 7 years) in IT architecture, with a focus on Middleware solutions. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop technical teams. Strong expertise in Middleware technologies such as WebLogic, API Gateway, and containerization platforms (eg, Kubernetes, Docker). Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies and their application in architecture design and development. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Experience in a public administration or similarly complex environment is desirable. Role: As a Chapter Lead for the Architect Chapter, you will lead and manage a team of architects responsible for Middleware squads delivering advanced IT services. You will play a critical role in defining and implementing architecture strategies, aligning them with organizational objectives, and ensuring Middleware solutions meet high-quality standards for scalability, availability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic guidance to ensure alignment between architecture solutions and the organization's goals. Support architects in their professional development and career growth, ensuring skills match current and future Cosmos challenges. Oversee the design and development of Middleware solutions to ensure they meet functional, technical, and security requirements. Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for Middleware technologies. Work closely with Middleware squads to ensure that architectural designs are properly implemented and maintained. Collaborate with other chapter leads, product owners, and squad members to align architecture objectives with overall project goals. Coordinate with stakeholders to address dependencies and ensure alignment with business needs. Facilitate knowledge sharing and communication between Middleware architects and other technical teams. Drive initiatives to optimize Middleware architecture for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Identify and implement emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance Middleware services and capabilities. Conduct regular architecture reviews to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Serve as the primary point of contact for Middleware architecture-related queries and decisions. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on architecture strategies, progress, and challenges.
