Our Government client is looking for 2 X Network Engineers on a minimum 9 month assignment. *Please read the criteria below before applying* SC clearance is needed for the role. The client is based in Swansea, Wales and weekly travel may be required to site. Please see the spec below: This is a senior hands-on technical role, providing expertise in the ongoing support of Network infrastructure whilst some of the existing team are designing, building, testing, and migrating to new Network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have supported network and security infrastructure in large complex environments. They will also have some relevant certifications and experience for the technology in use. They will have worked in ITIL environments with familiarity managing incidents and changes in ServiceNow. Technology: Routing & Switching: Juniper QFX, EX, MX & SRX hardware with knowledge of EVPN-VXLAN, BGP, OSPF. Wifi: Cisco 9800, 9120, DNA (Catalyst Centre), ISE Firewalls: Juniper, Checkpoint and PA or similar Other: F5 LTM, Solarwinds other networking technology Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. A SC Cleared Application Configuration Engineer is required for an initial 6 month contract this is a hybrid role with 40-50% on site in either Preston or Barrow. The role is inside IR35 so requires working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company. Key skills and experience: Experience in one or more of the following: o NX Structure Designer o NX for Ship Building o Authoring NX Check-Mate o NXOpen o NX Product Template Studio (PTS) o NX Visual Reporting o XML coding (to be used for the above) * Able to provide training to other members of the team in NX and Teamcenter and configuring toolsets. * Liaising with the program delivery team to gather and understand their requirements and requests to be configured * Submarine structures design experience is beneficial.
