In this role, you will collaborate closely with their regulatory reporting team and other engineering teams to support critical business needs. You will lead the analysis of regulatory changes with business teams, translating both functional and technical requirements into actionable solutions. This position will also involve working with the architecture team to optimise data structure and system design, while maintaining a hands-on approach to coding and peer reviews. Responsibilities: Define and implement requirements for regulatory reporting changes in collaboration with Compliance, Business Change, and other business teams. Develop a strong understanding of the technology architecture, trading systems, and data lake with a focus on regulatory reporting. Work with engineering teams to align on best practices, system design, and implementation strategies. Mentor junior team members, offering guidance on development best practices and technical implementation. Engage in coding and participate actively in code reviews. Partner with client and business teams as needed to ensure alignment on project requirements. Skills & Experience Knowledge of Python, and Airflow, along with our Hive data lake and SQL Server for database management. Experience in Regulatory Reporting, ideally with a focus on MiFID and SFTR.
