They are looking to hire a Director of Software Engineer to head up a global engineering function made up of multiple cross functional engineering teams. They are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead multiple disparate engineering teams with a headcount of around 30, as well as providing guidance and leadership for existing engineering managers. You will work closely with other senior stakeholders and product teams to inform the future direction of the product, based on customer feedback and industry trends - you don't have to be an expert in education technology, but you will become one! Responsibilities Provide overall leadership for two squads (8-16 people) Act as a champion of standards and processes across various development frameworks, tools, design patterns, source code, test, and security standards. As a specialist IT Security Engineer, you will work as part of their DevSecOps team based in Glasgow.
