We have partnered exclusively with our client, a specialist SME in digital food safety solutions and are seeking a skilled and motivated Installation Engineer to join our field engineers team. We are a direct agency to support this project and UK rollout installations. *No interviews or lengthy process* - quick response and on-boarding. UK driving licence is required, as it is a field position. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing food safety pods at various client sites. Your main duties will include unpacking the product, attaching the aerial, identifying the most suitable location for the hub, and connecting the hub to the Wi-Fi using the wizard or manual method. You will be required to ensure that there are no loose cables and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the installation process. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing end of day reports to management. Requirements: Previous experience in installation engineering or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Basic knowledge of electrical and networking systems. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Flexibility to work in different locations and environments. Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction. * CANDIDATE MUST HOLD SC CLEARANCE* Break-Fix Engineer - Erskine, Scotland Start Date: ASAP - 4 Weeks (Subject to BPSS and SC Clearance Transfer) Duration: 6 months Location: Erskine, Scotland (5days a week on Site) Clearance: Active SC IR35: INSIDE The Break Fix engineer is responsible for the effective analysis, diagnosis and repair of a range of device types including laptop, tablet, desktop, printer and mobile telephone technologies. The role will also include both internal and external communication to co-ordinate each request from beginning to end. Responsible for repairs on customer equipment including laptops, desktops and mobile devices. Diagnosing and troubleshooting computer issues. Responsible for upkeep of repair records using internal asset and tracking system (TIMS). 80% Hardware break/fix - some knowledge of software tools and operating systems to diagnose, fix & install. Uses proactive monitoring procedures to identify problem prevention opportunities and erratic system behaviours. Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring that they are met. Including working to service levels and managing ticket in accordance with agreed processes. Contribute to knowledge base articles and operational guides, to aid team members and partners to help troubleshoot similar issues. Be aware of and observe all Health and Safety procedures in accordance with Company policy. Reviews information provided and diagnoses issue based on established procedures and scripts. Resolves problems by following scripts and assessing diagnostic information. Diagnoses basic problems, initiates basic scripts, or loads routine patches to implement the activity. Escalates unresolved issues or problems. Supports documentation maintenance by updating information and changes as directed.
