In this role, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge payment solutions, working with leading platforms such as BOIPA and Elavon. Key Responsibilities Lead the architectural design and development of payment gateway systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Provide technical leadership and guidance across the project life cycle, including system design, implementation, and performance optimization. Integrate payment gateway solutions with existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal disruption. Evaluate and implement best practices to enhance payment security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to define technical requirements and deliverables. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide strategic solutions to enhance system reliability and performance. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and compliance requirements relevant to payment processing systems. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Technical Architect specializing in payment gateways. Deep understanding of platforms like BOIPA, Elavon, and other leading payment solutions. Strong expertise in designing scalable and secure payment processing systems. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in payment systems, such as Java, Python, or .NET. Experience with API integration and development, particularly in the context of payment processing. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (eg, PCI DSS). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud. Knowledge of machine learning or advanced analytics for fraud detection and prevention.
