Finance Architect for ERP evolution - Banking Client - Brussels/London Duration: 6 months Hybrid working: must be onsite 4 days in month only. Rate: 600 - 900 per day UK Profiles will have to use an Umbrella Job Description The Finance Project Management Office needs a Finance systems and tooling architecture designer leading viable, efficient, and effective solutions implementation for internal customers in the pursuit of Financial division development plan. The ideal candidate has a background in accounting services and ERP systems with proved experience in financial environment (in a banking sector is a plus). He/She is able to understand, review and propose improvement of the financial processes, to create a clear picture of the global context, to design solution scenarios and build up . As member of the Finance Group Coordination Office team, you act as the link between internal and external stakeholders (Coordination inside Finance and with IT or external provider teams) You support the delivery of transversal technology initiatives, accountable for the definition and the realization of end-to-end architecture solutions that fulfil the functional, non-functional and strict security & resilience requirements. From the inception phase until realization, you collaborate with the requirement owners in order to design a fit-for-purpose & quality end-to-end solution. You act as the lynch pin between business owners and IT to ensure the alignment of the end-to-end solution to the enterprise standards and domain target architectures. You contribute your hands-on for the definition of domain target architectures & roadmaps. Key skills: Finance architecture background (IT and non-IT) including knowledge on: ERP systems & modules Supply chain Banking sector accounting needs Cash management & subledger specificities Security, risk and reporting dependencies CRM connections Analytical and process review skills Accounting background (sub or general ledger, consolidation or regulatory reporting) Communication & advisory skills Team working skills and ability to motivate people Solid organizational skills and multi-tasking skills Autonomous and leadership skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Visio) Typical responsibilities include: Build architecture map & visualization of it Document capabilities and functionalities needs Elaborate capabilities evolution towards new and innovative market technologies Hands on analysis of dependencies linked to interfacing, connectivity and security Drive a comprehensive and agreed vision of the Finance architecture Drive providers intake & relationship with tooling provider Identify technical and tooling implementation business requirements Coordination business owners requirements & highlights Technical and organizational advisory in regard to tooling evolution synchronizing the various expert people organising the various professional people working on a project carrying out risk & benefit assessments using IT systems to keep track of people and progress monitoring stakeholders to ensure guidelines are maintained and quality is delivered (if needed is hands on to make it happen) coordinate the change management requested for the operational readiness Depending on the project, responsibilities can cover all aspects of a project from the beginning stages through to completion.
