My client partners with an enviable list of clients and due to ongoing growth they are at the point where they need a dedicated IT Manager to oversee their whole IT and Systems environment. Their environment is based across two sites (London and Brighton) with the physical data centre based on the Brighton site (running Kubernetes and OpenStack). They have a great technical setup generally, with their cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS using all core AWS components - S3, IAM, RDS, Redshift, EC2, EKS, Cloudfront and RabbitMQ. Their laptops are a mix of Mac, Windows and Linux and they also use AD & LDAP and this role would see you overseeing this technical setup as well as leading the support function. As the new IT Manager you will be a part of the leadership team and oversee a technical environment used by around 200 staff who have amazing amounts of passion for their work. We are looking for an IT Manager with the following skills: Must have been working at senior or Lead level with prior decision-making responsibilities Commercial AWS experience is essential as this is a main part of their environment Some Kubernetes experience is required Linux and Windows is required The ability to commute to London or Brighton when needed is essential (but the role is going to be mostly remote) Previous work with a scale up or fast-growing agency of a similar size would be a great bonus Our client has a constant focus on new development and technology and offers an excellent home with progressive career opportunities.
