Senior Business Consultant (eCommerce) Consultant to work within our growing value add business consulting team specialising in digital change and transformation. To be successful in this role, you are expected to have in-depth experience of client-side Commerce operations and change strategies, understanding the realities of operating an E-commerce business/digital transformation initiative You will bring new ways of working, innovative ideas and experiences to our teams and be passionate about making the difference both in the short term but also embedding these into the longer-term culture of our business Responsibilities Support our existing and future clients with consultancy services, concentrating (albeit not exclusively) on digital change and delivery transformation Strategically support the development of the consultancy team proposition around the two key areas of structured digital change and delivery transformation and the development of consultancy propositions and go-to-market strategies Bring together CX, data and tech services to run joined up consultancy engagements for brands and retailers Help grow our client's business by helping them develop their customer proposition Create frameworks and approaches to key consultancy offerings to give structure and confidence to our customer Support scoping new client engagements and involvement in pitches Skills Required Strategic thinking and business acumen Great client relationship building skills Proven ability to build relationships within the client organisation, including C suite executives and business decision makers, through demonstrated knowledge, executive presence and superb listening skills. Understanding of financial and ROI models, with the ability to transform recommendations and client data into benefits and business cases Strong verbal, written and presentation business communications skills Influencing skills, building strong relationships with cross-functional leaders across the broader organization, working collaboratively to achieve results Ability to combine data/evidence-based thinking with creativity and insight Be able to balance day to day client delivery and new business development Experience Required 10+ years of relevant work experience including 5+ years of experience in a client-side E-commerce role and/or 5+ years in a Strategy, Account Management or BA role at a digital commerce agency or as an independent consultant working in the E-commerce industry Business user-level knowledge of the major E-commerce technologies - platforms, CMS, marketing technologies, other 3rd party solutions Expert knowledge in one or multiple areas of digital consulting eg. customer experience design, digital platform integration, Front End design and build, UX, product and proposition design, customer analytics, digital marketing Proven background in driving digital innovation across technology, customer experience, data, process, and service offerings from development of the vision and strategy, obtaining internal support and approvals through business case development through to leading the execution of the plan Beneficial Experience of working in Agile environments and have experience of how this methodology can drive business efficiency, understand Agile transformation and how to apply the core principals across businesses at differing levels of Agile maturity Dutch speaker ideally, must be able to have considerable presence in Netherlands.
