SAP ILM Consultant Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced SAP ILM Consultant to work with a key client Please note this is not a Full time position and only requires 40 hours work effort Description: See details as follows: 1) ECC system ( GQ1) was archiving data in On Premise IQ system 2) This ECC system was used to refresh another source system GD1 for system conversion to S/4 HANA 3) GD1 system was converted to S/4HANA GD1 system which was again connected to on-Premise IQ system 4) Then this On-Premise IQ was moved to new IQ system on Azure cloud using new installation of IQ followed by Backup Restore 5) Then S/4HANA GD1 was connected to new IQ system on cloud . 6) Then requirement from SAP was to use a standalone ILM system (DIL) as centralized archiving system 7) We then connected S/4HANA GD1 system to new SAP IQ via DIL . 8) We are able to archive and retrieve new data. 9) But old data Archived in GQ1 is not accessible . 10) SAP incident told that as SID has changed we will not be able to access old data . 11) But even If we synchronize the SID from GD1 to GQ1 I am not sure if we will be able to access old data as ILM store has changed DIL which doesn't have any metadata from old archived documents. As recommended by SAP we configured new ILM system with IQ Server and then connecting converted S/4HANA system to IQ store via ILM. But we were not able to access old data. Though any new data can be archived and retrieved as well successfully. Now After having lot of discussion SAP is suggesting for consulting service for below 2 points 1) As in the new setup both SRS and ILM store is moving to new standalone ILM system so metadata for old archived files which were stored in source system DB needs to be moved to new ILM system DB . 2) And for non-prod landscape as the SID of the source system is also changed from GQ1 to GD1 so consulting service from SAP will be required for modifying this old metadata & uri's pointing to old SID. All of our opportunities require that applicants are eligible to work in the specified country/location, unless otherwise stated in the job description. Whitehall Resources are an equal opportunities employer who value a diverse and inclusive working environment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, pregnancy, disability, age, veteran status, or other characteristics.
