SAP Functional Consultant/Payroll/MM/Permanent/Leeds/Hybrid Your new company Hays Technology are recruiting a SAP Functional Consultant to join a large public sector organisation in the Leeds area. You will be reporting to the SAP manager in an expanding Specialist SAP team and will specialise in Payroll or Materials Management. Your new role As an SAP Functional Consultant, you will be joining the team as they embark on a transformation to S4 HANA and you will be leading the Payroll or MM related SAP delivery in line with the needs of the organisation. You will lead the identification, selection, specification, and configuration of SAP functionality to enable delivery of the organisation's vision. You will be leading the design, development, and maintenance of the integration between SAP and other applications linked to Payroll or MM, whilst collaborating with internal staff, business programme managers, and third-party suppliers and partners. You will also be providing support for SAP finance by handling incidents, undertaking investigation, working with colleagues to confirm bugs, adhering to change procedures and effectively documenting changes. What you'll need to succeed Extensive technical experience of Material Management or Payroll modules Extensive experience of implementing and enhancing solutions Experience in test preparation execution, dress rehearsals and cutover/hyper care support Detailed understanding of the business process requirements and an ability to advice on best practice A proven track record of successful technical troubleshooting Experience of both ECC6 and S4/HANA is desirable What you'll get in return This exciting position is paying up to £51,805, negotiable on experience and offers an excellent work life balance including: hybrid working, 40 days annual leave, competitive public sector pension scheme 20%, flexibility, training, and development opportunities.
