We manufacture slitting machines that include pneumatics, precision bearing slides, ball screws, servo drives, AC motors with semi and automatic actions. All machined parts are delivered to us painted and plated for assembly, we are a small but successful team that are proud of our position in the world market of slitting machines. We are replacing a team member that has been with us for 11 years. The company was formed in 1985, we have worked with three other ex military engineers that worked effectively. Currently we are building machines for the US, UK and Holland. The position will be increased in stature to include safety training related to UK, US and European safety standards.

HAYLEY DEXIS are looking for a Pumps Sales Engineer to join our well-established and expanding team based at our pumps division in Dudley. About the role: As our Pumps Sales Engineer, you will be joining a well-established and experienced team, to help provide excellent customer service and to support our branch Network. In this role you will get the opportunity to build rapport and credibility with our branches and their customers and become part of an ever-expanding company. This is a great role for an engineer/fitter who has pump experience and wants to try a different role in external sales. The role is to support several of the branches and their sales personnel located in different parts of the UK which we split into three Areas. The area we are looking for is below Manchester either operating down the M5 or M1 corridor covering the south of the UK. The local Hayley Dexis branch representative is the main sales contact with their customers, but they need technical help finding solutions for their customers issues, or to help their customers understand different styles of pumps that may be more beneficial for their application from an energy or maintenance point of view. Full product and sales training is available for the right applicant. Uniform and PPE provided if required Key responsibilities as our Pumps Sales Engineer : Visiting and building relationships with existing branches and their customers. Supporting the Hayley Branch Network in developing sales area to look for potential new customers. Generating sales leads in partnership with Hayley branch representatives and Strategic Accounts. Converting quotations into customer orders. Collaborating with your team on quotations and enquiries. Skills we're looking for in our Pumps Sales Engineer : Experience of working in an engineering/sales environment is essential, ideally pumps related. Full, clean driving licence. Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service. Enthusiastic, keen, and willing to learn. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
