Bilingual Dutch and English-speaking Open Source, Ubuntu, Ansible ISP engineer is needed for a Hybrid 6-month project based in Amsterdam, Holland. The ideal Open Source, Ubuntu, Ansible ISP engineer must be in Holland for this hybrid role and can work from home and onsite in Amsterdam. But candidates must be in country or happy to relocate with a Visa in place as this is an immediate start. Ideally the rate will be €400 to €500 a day but will pay more for the ideal candidate. The ideal Open Source, Ubuntu, Ansible ISP engineer will be creative problem-solving skills coupled with technological expertise are required to deal with day-to-day occurrences. Whether it's a software glitch or a seemingly inexplicable malfunction, the engineer must be able to isolate the issue and repair the problem in a timely manner. As website hacking becomes more prevalent, Internet engineers are increasingly called on to create security solutions. Engineers must be able to locate and block gaps before a hacker finds them. These engineers must also have the ability to detect subtle compromises in the system that may otherwise go unnoticed. Any damage that occurs must be repaired immediately. An Internet engineer must be capable of multi-tasking. Most engineers work on several projects simultaneously while consulting with other team members or company employees. This ability is essential for senior engineers and Internet engineering project managers. Skills The ideal candidate will be a mix of Unix/Linux system administrator, Salt-Stack and Webmail technologies with Terraform and Tomcat. Provides the ISP team support for multiple platforms, including low level design, build and delivery across the following areas: Collaboration technical support Client Security Services architects Thin Client technical support Engages across multiple functions, both business and technical, to ensure services consistently match needs and expectations. Defines and directs multiple projects and programmes to meet business objectives their business demands, ensuring deliverables are timely and of high quality.
