This DevOps and Cloud Consultancy was established 3 years ago but already has several top tier FTSE listed banking and financial services firms as clients. The firm has around 15 employees at present but is growing rapidly due to increasing customer demand. They are seeking to hire a Security Architect with previous experience of designing and implementing security architecture in the cloud. Most of the firm's customers use AWS, but they will also consider candidates who have knowledge of GCP and/or Azure. They are specifically looking for someone who has strong threat modelling experience, and ideally someone who has previously completed threat modelling at both design and implementation stage in the cloud using an established framework such as STRIDE. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with customers, designing Cloud Native Security architectures and using threat models to drive and refine the architecture definition. The firm is also considered to be a technical thought leader and they regularly write and publish technical articles. If you are interested, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the additional training work they do with their customers (eg one household name customer recently asked them to train their engineers in DevSecOps). The firm has a very strong culture and values proposition which is refreshing, employee-centric and progressive. In this role, you can be based anywhere in the UK. You will work predominantly remotely, although there may be occasions when you may need to work from client-site.
