WVNET is seeking to hire a new Telecommunication Network Specialist 3 to analyze, design, configure, install, deploy and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Campus networks (Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls), associated wireless infrastructure (Extreme, Meraki), video telepresence infrastructure (Cisco VCS, MCU, Polycom endpoints), VOIP solutions (CUCM, SIP trunks), System Monitoring (Kiwi syslog, LibreNMS) and remote access (VPN ASA, AAA, TACACS, RADIUS) and associated ongoing maintenance and updating of related hardware and software. Right candidate will be working as part of a large team under the guidance of a Technical Design Authority (TDA), this position requires an experienced Storage Engineer who can analyse storage environments, support discovery and decisioning on source/target arrays, create migration runbooks and execute storage technical steps during migration cut over windows. The successful candidate should be comfortable working as part of a large team, at pace, with the ability to articulate requirements to non-technical colleagues and demonstrable experience of supporting a high-profile storage infrastructure programme(s). In addition, they will be expected to support the discovery activity and work closely with the Discovery Lead to create technical artifacts, including technical procedures for migration preparation, execution and cutover.
