The Opportunity: After multiple contract wins our client is on the lookout for a number of experienced Architectural Technicians, to produce detailed feasibility and detailed design packages. You will be responsible for the production of CAD drawings, including utilising ordnance mapping topographic overlays to produce highly accurate architectural layouts for EV charging bays and hubs. You will use your thorough understanding of architectural principles, spatial planning, and building regulations to produce efficient, functional designs for real world locations. This role would suit an experienced CAD Technician/Draughtsman with a background in the Civil, Rail, Electrical, Highway, Telecoms, Transport, Oil and Gas or any other similar industries Skills and Experience: A proven background and proficiency in CAD software (eg AutoCAD, Revit) to produce architectural infrastructure designs The ability to accurately translate design concepts into technical drawings Experience in Feasibility, Planning, Tender and Construction drawings Excellent attention to detail, planning and time management skills Knowledge of electric vehicle charging technologies, electricity infrastructure and DNO standards is advantageous Experience designing car parking bays, or knowledge of DMRB/Street Furniture/Traffic Signs Manuals would be beneficial Role and Responsibilities: Utilise CAD software to create comprehensive architectural layouts for EV charging bays and hubs Produce accurate 2D layouts of existing sites, considering the effect of potential real world obstacles and barriers to functionality Conduct Feasibility, Planning, Tender and Construction drawings Produce detailed planning documents for submission to clients and Local Authorities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey design ideas to non-technical stakeholders

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including preventive and corrective maintenance. Ensure electrical safety, compliance with regulations, and proper documentation. Contribute to a positive HS&E culture, identify improvements, and provide feedback to senior management. Requirements: 3+ years of PV Solar field technician experience. Current industry-recognized HV AP 2/AP3 Authorization. NVQ3-certified Electrician with strong mechanical expertise. Skilled in electrical systems design and solar connections.
