This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service offering with an established Global brand. We are looking for experienced IT/Cloud sales specialists to be at the forefront of selling Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) via existing channel partners and through the direct business model. To support this new service, several sales specialist roles have been identified that require experienced individuals to assist channel partners in identifying and securing Cloud services sales. The successful Cloud/technology sales specialist will work closely with hundreds of existing channel Partners, product management, pre-sales and 3rd party professional service organizations that may be providing AWS implementation services. You will be a Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring others, along with the application of advanced business skills in the area of specialization. As an experience cloud/technology sales specialist, you will be required to lead accounts along the whole process, through to contract negotiations. As this is a new product area for my client, these roles require the candidates to have previous AWS and/or a similar skill set, as you must be to demonstrate a degree of technical knowledge within both Public and Private Cloud infrastructure together with associated IT and an understanding of appropriate service/sales model. Successful applicants should have both the experience and demonstrable track record of success to motivate channel partners, internal account managers, and senior managers, growing this division through established partners. Desired Experience: Experience in an IT/Cloud solution selling Experience of selling into the SME (sub 250) sector Preferably an AWS sales certification/AWS Business Professional Able to articulate/converse about key technologies (VPN, Firewalls, AD, Virtualization etc.) Experience solution selling - will be required to demonstrate how particular relevant questioning concerning a customer's existing IT/infrastructure can be transposed into an appropriately sized cloud solution. Able to articulate the commercial and operational benefits of Public cloud to both informed and uninformed parties A successful track record in selling and/or supporting sales of AWS or equivalent services to the SME and Mid-Market. The ability to identify, develop and close sales opportunities. The use of a specific sales methodology to identify, develop and close sales opportunities.
