Automotive Dimension Integration Manager/Expert

Are you an engineer with a passion for precision and automotive manufacturing? We are looking for a skilled BIW Dimension Integration Manager/Expert to join our team and lead a dynamic group of engineers. This role will have a significant impact on the integration of BIW dimensions, driving process improvements through slow build processes, PCF activities, and BIW PIST delivery. As part of this exciting position, you will oversee a team of 4 engineers, working closely with internal and external support to ensure the highest standards of dimension control across all phases of production.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading several key initiatives, including the evaluation of part tolerance, locator strategy, and measurement plans, while also reviewing jigs and fixture solutions in stamping and body shop operations. You'll define and manage dimension maturation roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, and handle dimension risk evaluations during each build phase. Your expertise will drive process improvements, including the implementation of slow build planning, issue-solving, and correlation of inline measurements to ensure consistency and quality.

The position also offers the opportunity to lead dimension control for key functional areas, ensuring smooth launches and continuous improvement in BIW and underbody measurements. Your deep-dive analysis and commitment to high-quality control will be crucial in maintaining precision throughout the manufacturing process. You'll also work closely with teams to define key function dimensions and oversee the finalization of control plans to ensure flawless production outcomes.
