DevOps Engineer | Long-Term Project | Financial Enterprise
The IBM InfoSphere MDM system serves as the foundation of the OnePAM layer within the TouchPoint platform. It houses all ING European party data and acts as the source for PSD processes related to person/party information. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the system's maintainability, data distribution, and alignment with the end customer's needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders (feature squads) and actively contribute to enhancing the platform's functionality by deploying and configuring new features, components, and releases in a controlled manner. Your role includes taking initiative to coordinate dependencies across teams and ensuring the quality and availability of the software.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage risk control processes for the MDM system.
- Implement changes securely and without disrupting production operations.
- Ensure the OnePAM platform operates reliably to meet consumer expectations.
- Maintain and deliver new operational functionalities to the OnePAM platform.
- Provide support to OnePAM consumers, such as delivering data overviews and resolving data quality issues.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Proficiency in risk management.
- Hands-on experience with incident, change, and configuration management.
- Expertise in Ansible.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
- Ability to perform technical analyses of user requirements.
- Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in continuous delivery, continuous integration, and ensuring code quality.
- Skilled in navigating complex environments, utilizing Agile methods, and applying software development frameworks.
- A 24x7 mindset with the ability to participate in stand-by shifts to support ING's 24x7 operations.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with IBM Master Data Management (MDM) Enterprise version 11 (physical).
- Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server.
- Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana for metrics and alerting.
- Experience in data modelling.
- Exposure to working with distributed teams.
