Collaborate with external partners/vendors on technical aspects of production equipment and spares. Create or detail essential jigs and fixtures. About You A minimum of three years' experience in a medium to high volume production environment is mandatory. Practical experience demonstrating a hands-on and methodical approach to mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis/analysis, utilising diagnostic tools/equipment. Effective communication skills with internal customers and external suppliers, encompassing both technical matters and general levels. Proven working knowledge of assembly automation, including the ability to diagnose pneumatic system logic. Previous experience in the installation/testing, and fault finding of electrical systems. Experience with PLC programming and control system interrogation would be advantageous. A diverse range of qualifications may be considered; however, a robust Engineering background is envisioned, preferably supported by a recognised Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship. Possession of an ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline would be advantageous. Electrical installation Qualification to a minimum of 17th Edition Proficiency in Literacy and Numeracy. Computer literacy is essential, with experience using MS Office. Essential qualities include being a team player. Ability to seek assistance from fellow employees. Organisational skills are imperative. Open-minded, flexible, and adaptable. Punctuality and reliability are key attributes.
